A uniquely robust tea made in small batches, every one slightly different, by painstakingly cleaning, cutting, and roasting the bark of a Shagbark Hickory tree until its flavors are at their peak, releasing aromas of, as some say, roasted nuts, caramel, and toasted marshmallows by a campfire. Nothing is ever added to the Shagbark; it just smells and tastes wonderful after being roasted! The perfectly roasted pieces are finely chopped, and one full tablespoon is carefully deposited into each natural, unbleached filter bag by hand, tied, and readied for shipping.
How to make the perfect cup of Shagbark Hickory Tea
Pour boiling water over one tea bag in your favorite cup.
Let it steep to your heart’s desire, 5-15 minutes. Wait patiently for perfection.
If you wish, add cream and/or Shagbark Hickory Syrup, the perfect sweetener.
