Maple Coffee Cake is really tasty dessert which you can easily make for some get-together or family celebration! You get an extreme aesthetic pleasure while cooking, serving and eating it.

Ingredients
- hot roll mix: 1 package (16 ounces)
- Viking Farms Maple Sugar: 3 tablespoons
- warm water (about 130°): 3/4 cup
- butter (melted): 6 tablespoons
- 1 egg
- Viking Farms Maple Syrup: 1 teaspoon
Filling
- Viking Farms Maple Sugar: 1/2 cup
- walnuts (chopped): 1/3 cup
- cinnamon (grounded): 1 teaspoon
- Viking Farms Maple Syrup: 1 teaspoon
- butter (melted): 2 tablespoons
Glaze
- confectioners’ sugar: 1 cup
- Viking Farms Maple Syrup: 1/4 teaspoon
Instructions
Take the contents of the roll mix and yeast packets with the sugar and combine them in a large bowl. Stir in warm water, butter, egg and maple syrup – mix well.
Knead onto a floured surface about 2-3 minutes until smooth and elastic. Place the dough into a greased bowl and turn once to grease the top. Cover the bowl with Maple Coffee Cake dough and let it rise about 60 minutes in a warm place until doubled.
Filling
While waiting, let’s make the filling for Maple Coffee Cake. To do it, combine sugar, walnuts, cinnamon and maple syrup in a bowl. Grease a 12-in. pizza pan. Punch dough down. Turn onto a lightly floured surface and divide the dough into three portions.
Roll each into a 12-in. circle. Take one circle and place it on the prepared pan. Take the third part of the melted butter and brush the circle with it, after sprinkle with a third of the filling. Place other two layers (formed circles) of Maple Coffee Cake, repeating the same actions twice. To seal – pinch around edge.
Form the Maple Coffee Cake shape
Now, one of the most interesting parts! Take a small glass and place it in the center of the circle of our three layers Maple Coffee Cake. With kitchen scissors, form 16 wedges by cutting from outside edge to the glass in the center. Twist each of 16 wedges five or six times and tuck ends under. After twisting the wedges, remove the glass. Cover with towel and let it rise about 30 minutes one more time in a warm place.
Turn on an oven to preheat it to 375°. Bake the сake about 25 minutes or until golden brown. Remove to a wire rack to cool.
Glaze
To make the glaze, combine ingredients and drizzle over warm Maple Coffee Cake.
